• When can I rent an apartment?

  Please note the availability date specified in the advertisement. Some of the apartments in Frankfurt-Riedberg are available for immediate occupancy. You can move in at the beginning of the next month, provided that there are at least two weeks between signing the contract and moving in.

   

  Please note: During periods of high demand, it is possible that several interested parties will apply for the same apartment. In such cases, we unfortunately cannot accept every application. We ask for your understanding and will endeavor to review all inquiries carefully and as promptly as possible.

• How does the rental process work?

  You can rent your flat in Frankfurt without even having to be there. View, ask questions, apply, sign the tenancy agreement and move in. It’s all easy to do online in just five simple steps:

   

  CHOOSE
  Simply choose the home that suits your lifestyle and requirements.

   

  REGISTER
  After registering with your name and password, simply confirm your email address and enter your details.

   

  UPLOAD
  We then need you to upload a few documents: ID, self-disclosure form, proof of income and a landlord’s certificate confirming that you have no outstanding rent debts.

   

  WAIT
  Your details and documents will be checked in the next step. If everything is in order, you will receive the green light from us within a few days – along with your digital tenancy agreement.

   

  DECIDE
  Take your time to read through the terms and conditions of the tenancy agreement. If everything is okay with you, all we need is your digital signature.

• What is the tenant app all about?

  The Placed tenant app is your digital assistant for everything related to your home. You can view documents such as your rental agreement or bills at any time, report damage, and chat directly with the property management team.
  It also offers practical services such as digital door opening and parcel box access (availability depends on location) and keeps you informed about news in the building.

• Is the lease agreement for a fixed term?

  No, the agreement is open-ended. We hope you feel at home with us and want to stay for a long time! The minimum rental period is 6 months.

• Is there a minimum rental period?

  Yes, the minimum rental period is 6 months.

• Are the apartments only for students?

  No, the apartments are not only for students. Although many of our tenants are still studying, trainees, young professionals, commuters, etc. are also welcome.

• What does all-inclusive rent mean?

  Your all-inclusive rent includes not only the net rent but also all utilities such as electricity, water, gas, and Wi-Fi. This means you won’t have any nasty surprises or high additional payments at the end of the year. We also do not charge any hidden processing fees. The only thing you need to factor in is your broadcasting license fee.

• How much is the deposit and when does it have to be paid?

  The deposit is three months’ net rent and must be paid into the deposit account before the apartment is handed over.

• What documents do I need to rent an apartment?

  A copy of your ID, a completed self-disclosure form, your last three pay slips, a Schufa credit report, and a certificate confirming that you have no outstanding rent debts.

• Can I apply for several flats at the same time to increase my chances?

  It is not necessary to submit multiple applications. Simply apply for the flat that best suits your desired budget and preferred floor.
  If this flat has already been allocated or is not suitable, our team will automatically check your complete and suitable documents for other available units in the property and, if necessary, suggest a suitable alternative.

• How can I increase my chances of getting an apartment?

  You can increase your chances of being accepted by submitting all the required documents in full at the outset. If we have any questions or if any documents are missing, it helps to submit them promptly so that we can review your application without delay.

• If I apply for a flat that has already been let in the meantime, will I automatically receive suggestions for alternatives?

  Yes. If your documents are complete and suitable, our team will automatically suggest a suitable alternative in the same property. Multiple applications are therefore not necessary.
